This is an incredible book from first page to last. The people who wrote bad reviews are obviously Deep State. This book is more well documentd than the Kennedy assassination, which was Deep State. Thanks to Mr Johnston and his wife (editor) who have made a fabulous account of a time in our history when people did not question what the govt said or did. I purchased the second edition from 2018 and it is perfect. I lived through that time and can identify with how things happened, unlike the snowflakes of today. Thanks for a great great book!
How do you know when a so-called whistleblower is lying? When what he claims is impossible, that's how. We read here how this author caught NASA employees "at the task of painting out the stars in lunar images." Poppycock. There could not have been stars in the totally black lunar sky as captured by the Apollo astronauts' chest-mounted Hasselblad cameras. It is not possible to set one of those cameras to expose both faint stars and very bright sunlit lunar regolith in the same shot. The difference in brightness is just too great. In one or two Apollo 14 shots, the planet Venus was bright enough to be seen, but stars? No. Undoubtedly what Ken Johnston saw was retouching sparkle on photoprints that _might_have_been_misinterpreted_ as stars. A very different matter.
