Selected by Extraterrestrials: My life in the top secret world of UFOs, think-tanks and Nordic secretaries
After WWII a number of Douglass Aircraft people were part of a Boy Scout Troop in Brentwood California, only a few miles from Douglass Aircraft in Santa Monica. I remember my father telling me of one of the scientists being involved in very secret work at Douglass. My father was also friends with Don Douglass jr.
In addition a close relative worked for a major NASA facility. I can tell you for a fact the sex activity was rampant during that part of the space program period. There are stories about this NASA facility which are very well known to those who follow the UFO field. I find the inclusion of the sexual side of the story disturbing to read in print but it was a fact and is part of history.
In my humble opinion the information which Tompkins addresses in his book are true and accurate based on my experience and involvement in the UFO field. The U.S. is so much farther ahead in science and space than anyone can imagine. Please rememberer the statement of Ben Rich head of the Skunk Works for Lockheed, " We can do anything you can imagine. We can take E.T. home." Think of that.
But I still have a couple of questions regarding alien motivation:
1. What are they actually here for? I ask because mineral resources are much more plentiful and easy to get in the asteroid belt. Even for genetic stock makes no sense for aliens who can do genetic engineering on top of faster than light interstellar travel.
2. Since it would be far easier to knock up a couple of robots, why would they genetically engineer humans, who are weak and not robust, as slaves?
3. If we have thousands-millions of years difference in our developmental scale to the aliens, the same must be true for the aliens compared to each other too. If this is the case and they are truly waring on Earth, why hasn't one species won?
4. Considering that is not occurred to human zoologists to disguise themselves as chips, for instance, and infiltrate a clan to take over leadership and affect their politics. After all, we have enough technology to do it with makeup. Why then are they at war with each other here on Earth and using us as proxies? Of course, with such a huge advantage as they have over us it would be more like humans turning themselves into termites to conduct their nefarious wars! Surely a sure-fire way to impress your girlfriend?
5. A further inconsistency: if Bill is the main honcho coming up with all this "big plan" stuff, why doesn't he know what is really going on?
OK - this is not really Bill's main revelation, but if aliens lose a craft and can do such blindingly cool things like shut down communications, anti-gravity, faster than light and so on... Why do they let humans keep the downed craft? Surely it would be easy for them to close down all communication and electrics, whiz in and nick the ships/bodies back?
I'm more than happy with the idea of there being a number of alien tourists visiting Earth for whatever reasons. However, I can't imagine them being so technologically balanced that they are fighting it out here. I imagine there would be some kind of overarching inter-alien organisation.
Anyhow, whichever way you look at it you'd think that if somebody was telepathically communicating with aliens (who are fighting interstellar battles) why wouldn't they at least let him know what their motivations are?
